I don’t know how to write Pinto’s story. Stories like that just make you… Sad? Disappointed? Depressed? Destroy our motivation? Yes, definitely. On the other hand, it’s good to see that our former client, who has had a difficult life, has come back to us and is not wandering the streets alone. On the other hand… The fact that Pinto has come back to us is also a bit of a “miracle”, and it makes me extremely sad. Ah, a “miracle” how? Let’s start from the beginning…

Pinto is our lovely pet who came to us just over 8 years ago. Soon Pinto found a home with his girlfriend Kiisiku and everything was idyllic. Until… 2.5 years later, the family sadly announced that due to work they were moving to Asia and although they had planned to take the cats with them, the paperwork and taking the cats with them is a lot more complicated than they thought. So Pinto and Kiisik had to find a new home.

We found a new home for Pinto and Kiisik, where everything was idyllic for them at first. Until Kiisik left for the land of the kittens due to illness and Pinto’s life took an unexpected turn.

The circumstances are confusing for us, but at one point, a worker at one of the animal clinics informed us that she had found a cat. On checking the chip, it turned out to be our Pinto. When we spoke to the owner, it turned out that Pinto had been missing for so long that she thought he was long dead….
