Steel cat lovers will probably remember that at the end of the year, we rushed to the aid of an Ida-Viru cat rescue society that was closing down. The last 10 furballs were in desperate need of a new place to continue their search for a home, and so we found… ANTS! 
Ants was found on the street as a young boy, but had been waiting for a home in Eastern Estonia for a long time. Now he’s in our cat room in Tallinn, hoping for a better home!
It’s always such a pleasure to meet new cats – apart from the incredible feeling of helping an innocent soul, it’s great to see a new pet open up its soul to us step by step and finally show us what kind of cat it really is.
And you know, that Ants… He’s a really funny guy! 
Even though Ants is still shy around us, he is a real peek-a-boo! 
When the volunteers get their chores done in the cat room, sit down somewhere and the cat room becomes a quiet idyll, then… Suddenly, two curious eyes peer in to see what the volunteer is doing! And all it takes is for the volunteer to go into the other room when… When those two peeping eyes “catch up”. No matter which volunteer is in the cashier’s room or what time it is, there are always two curious eyes peeking at the person! One volunteer joked that she was getting a bit weirded out by the little spy watching. 
For us, however, it says just one thing! Ants is very keen to make friends with people, all he needs is his own home and a FATHER to open up to! And you know, the biggest developments always happen at home!
