Hansel is the kind of cat you look at and your heart breaks. You know, the furball who is so, so cute you want to cuddle him and pet him and give him the whole world, but….

But Hansel himself does not believe. He doesn’t think he’s worth anything. He doesn’t believe he could ever have a home of his own. Not to mention his own person.

“Can I, Hansel, really be someone’s cup of tea? Can someone love… just ME!?? HANSEL!?”

Little Hansel comes from Jõhvi, where he and his sister Gretel lived on the street as kittens. Thanks to the good people of the area, they were rescued. As they couldn’t find a new home there for a year, they came into our care.

Oh, how startled they were at first. Especially little Hansel, who until recently lived between the wall and the nest… Yes, you read that right, not in the nest, but behind the nest. Between the wall and the nest. Hansel just didn’t know where to hide to make himself invisible.

Hansel is now boldly roaming around the cat room, checking out nests here and there and enjoying lounging in front of the fireplace! He’s also enjoying his patch courses and we’ve been able to make him his first payments, which he’s really enjoyed.

We can’t wait for the RIGHT person to come into Hansel’s life and give him a forever home! Hansel will be a super sweet and loving companion if given the chance! Before that, we need a person who will make Hansel believe that he is truly a lovable cat who deserves his own home and his own person! Everything else will come from love!
