Did you know that stripes are the most popular hair pattern in the world? Or that there are four different stripe patterns? Or that the name “stripe” comes from the French for soft silk? Or the fact that there’s a beautiful stripey Lisa in the shelter that you could have?
Lisa came into our care over a year ago from a large colony in Saue municipality. Lisa was still a kitten whose first months on the streets were difficult and she had no contact with humans.
At first, Lisa was very scared and timid – no one had ever noticed her before. She had never known care and love, let alone a warm nest or a soft cuddle. The unexpected attention seemed frightening at first, but it sparked curiosity in this hearty little kitten. As the months went by, little Lisa made steady and steady progress. This tiny but big-hearted little stripling has come just to the point where she finally wants to live for real…. a real domestic cat life!
