The Cats Sanctuary is very expensive to run. It covers the rent and utilities of the premises, the food and sand for the cats, and the treatment of the cats. The cost of the initial procedures for one coat (parasite treatments, chip, vaccines, passport and sterilisation) ranges from €200-250 depending on the sex of the cat. Often cats in our care need prolonged treatment for illnesses or viruses contracted on the streets. Treatment is often long and expensive, running into four figures. In one month, we spend up to €10 000 on renting premises, food for the cats, sand and medical costs, depending on the season.
A donation may be a “small” contribution for one person, but it is a very big one for us. The more permanent donations, the more running costs we can cover and the more cats we can help.
Your permanent donation will help:
Buy crisps and tinned food for cats
Pay for the initial treatment of cats
Enable dental surgery, ear treatment, biopsies and many other diagnostic and symptomatic treatments to help cats.
Do good then your heart will beat faster!
